I felt like writing today...

I guess writing for the Exchange must have jump-started the Muse.

I wrote a little bit on the SSHG fic I started planning several months ago based on Jane Austen's Persuasion.  Yes,mollyssister, this is the fic I promised you in the morethanmolly community many, many moons ago.  I think I may be able to get past the block that I had encountered.  I think I will be working on it very slowly, but it feels good to be working on something.  I hadn't written anything in months before about April.  I was kind of afraid I would end up back in that state after the pressure of being so far beyond the deadline with the Exchang piece.

And in the back of my mind is a bit of plottiness for the second installment of my Severus/Minerva trilogy that I started in severusbigbang.  I have some revisions to make to Secrets Revealed to make the next installment work.

Don't anyone get too excited.  I don't think I will actually be publishing any of these things anytime soon, but it feels good to be stretching my brain a bit.

Yay for the writing! I always think that I should try and keep the momentum going, but my exchange fic left me so drained that I couldn't write a thing for a few months after that.

That's how I felt after Severusbigbang. I think I wrote one ficlet last summer and then nothing until about April. That's why I was delighted to feel the urge to write something. Of course, it might have helped that I gave up working on the Persuasion-SSHG fic to work on the Exchange piece. I had already thought about that one quite a bit.

That's what I was thinking. I was afraid I wouldn't feel like it for a while after the pressure of completing the Exchange piece.

That's kind of you to say. Eventually, when I complete what changes I need to make, I will be posting Secrets Revealed on some of the archives. Hopefully, that will get me moving on the next part. I had quite a bit of that thought out at one point. I'll need to go searching through my notes.

(And, yes, I read Kelly's story. I love how she can write so many nuances in the SSMM relationship.)
